McLachlan and Hocking must resign!

Been some good games. Don’t see what everyone is whining about.

All these rule changes have sucked. The only rule change I have liked in recent history was the not diving in front of players legs one. The umpires sometimes interpret this too tough, but it has stopped players just cannoning themselves along the ground while another player is running towards that loose ball, taking their legs out. It also encourages players to try and keep their feet at all times.

I can't think of any other good rule change other than this.

Ball cannot be kicked back in after a point until goal umpires wave the flags.

Yep. Was at a dinner last night with Cat, Melbourne and Carlton supporters in a discussion and we all agreed nothing wrong with the game (except the number of Carlton games in prime time).

If Crazy Gil changes the rules after this weekend he is a fair dinkum flog and must go. 4 high scoring thrillers out of 4 games so far.

Agreed, i just started a new topic saying the same thing. Leave the game alone, you F***wits.

Looking forward to that shill Whateley getting back on his soapbox for AFL house.

Crazy Gil should really look at that goal review system after years of seamless operation. Little Kenny is ropable with yet another review cluster #$@% that cost Port the game, probably top 4 spot and possibly more. Maybe we can write Gil a to do list, I think he needs one.

But Gil get really pissed off when the score review gets it wrong.
Won’t do anything about it, just gets mad about it.

Results this weekend show categorically that there is nothing wrong with our great game.

To all the media flogs and AFL officials who have no idea what they are talking about, just STFU!!

And they justify goal review etc on the old chestnut "you wouldn't want a team to lose a grand final on an undetected hit the post"

Well tonight just proved it can still happen and the goal review system can just make it worse.

Gil has to go. Too busy listening to the minority’s.
Certainly has no idea what he is doing.

No wonder the AFL were so keen to get Benny Gale to apply for the job.
This guy is has no balls.

And the tigers are top.

And you say there's nothing wrong with the game? Clearly you need to see it from the AFL management's perspective. It seems, although this is inexplicable to us (especially given we are the biggest drawcard they have), that there is a problem with the game when Richmond are on top. Must change the game, and in the meantime we'll use the current rules to bring the Tigers down.

Complete farce.

There is absolutely no way in the world that these Muppets will not change the rules, they have gone too far.
Funny thing now is some of the tweets coming from Mark Robinson.

Radical rules changes on the backburner. They have to be. Best four games to start a round I can remember.

Not sure if it’s hubris but I’m going with a view the tigers have fixed the game. To win against us you need to score heavily -aka cats take ng more risks and Collingwood copying our game plan. Congestion doesn’t work. Voila high scoring open games are now happening. (Other than Sydney on their small ground)

Gil is too busy listening to the media and trying stroke their ego.
Wants the media to love him.
He’s the David Brent of the AFL.
The people who matter, coaches and players are telling him to leave it alone.
Why doesn’t he listen to them?

From Max Gawn yesterday on twitter

I think I’ll take the current game. Thanks @AFL. Hope you enjoyed the game at Coburg.

I like Maxy now.

Always liked Max. Funny bugger who doesn't take himself too seriously.
