That's really a surprise to anyone ? He's been listed as a restricted free agent for the entire year. There is only one way you can be a restricted FA

Just to clarify, Freo have been ok for key backs. Grover & McPharlin have been mainstays back there with Parker & Tarrant also spending quality years as key backs.

McGuane doesnt get anywhere near any of them.
 
McGun is a KPF. It's where he played his junior footy. He'd be a dual Colman medalist if he was recruited by another club.

He was restricted Free Agent in 2012 so 100% is in top 10 paid players this season.

350K at a minimum you'd think.

Never entered my mind that he could possibly be in the top 10 paid players at the club. Would never have contemplated it. Beggars belief. It's even more comical than Dudbourne paying Dawes $2 million over 4 years.
