Amazing isn't it? We dominate the game/I50 count and the pencil kicks 2 goals against a simply awful opposition in perfect conditions and he's the answer to our tall forward issues?
For now - yeah - why not?
Who is the better answer - for right now?

Haven't really seen anyone claiming that though. The most praise he has really had is that he offers more than Miller, which should be a text-book example of damning with faint praise.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

big influence, someone will need to mark him and stay on him. Gives Jack one less opponent(fhree to two).

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

Luke can take a grab, as long as he and jack work apart and not spoil each other, i think he can take a good defender out, Muscles may change his career, I hope he does well, as he has heart.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

Must have played ok for this thread to sitting at the bottom of the second page.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

As far as I'm concerned we can rely him on him for 2 goals a game. He'll probably make that 4. Tell you what; if he nails 2 majors a game in the remaining games, then I reckon he should get a 12 month extension. No other tall apart from Riewoldt is kicking goals for us.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

Yep,agree with that.Has shown quite a bit up forward.

Well done luke, :clap

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

He's doing OK at the moment. Offers something down forward and, as always puts in a great effort. Not sure if he can keep it up, but at the moment is probably our best option for the position he's playing. It's pretty noticeable that we finally have another tall forward who can take a decent mark.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

He deserves every bit of it going on last year. 36 goals as a ruck/forward is an outstanding performance. His taps to advantage stats were also excellent. Unless you know for sure his form wasn't effected by his shoulder injury this year he still deserves to be rated on those performances.

Exactly as I said, overrated boy if thats your version of outstanding.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

You don't think 36 goals and strong back up ruck performances is outstanding for a 19 year old?
