Triers all, but that's as exciting as a punch in the guts!

pfft.

it will be the HFF in our next Team of the Century.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

miller brings Pia into the equation. McGuane needs to lift off the field a bit too now ;D

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

muscles strengths are aggression in the air and mobility for a tall, weaknesses being composure and kicking. it makes sense to play him forward - he'll hit marking contests hard, will take a few grabs and will apply defensive pressure.

played better than miler and vickery have all year.

Well said. It was great to see him hitting packs hard, taking some strong grabs and pinching a couple of majors to boot.

wont be a question of McGuane or Jackson. It will be McGuane and Jackson.

expect to see a HF line of
Jackson, McGuane, Edwards
in the coming weeks, and years.
Maybe for weeks, but not for years. T.V. will take back CHF when his shoulder is fixed which will push Laceout to a flank or pocket.
Talls to be Jaaack T.V. Laceout. rotate Nacho Tich Snakey Rangarage and our resting mids through as the small / med forwards as required.

Going fishing I see Brodders. :hihi

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

One game does not make a season or career, but thought his impact on Saturday was good. Got to do it against better opposition now, keep it up Luke!

Where's Gus? FF?

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

I'm expecting him to have a good game against GC.

2.6 coming up.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

Muscles talks about his game on Roar Vision. Eyeing a forward spot.

let's hope he has a day out v gc. Might increase his trade value with them....

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

Goes allright McGuane. The number one defender in Supercoach for points per game. ::)

He's time is limited but at this stage we just need bash and crash from him. But the top sides will carve him.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

If the Tigers had an actually functioning forward line as they did last year McCalamity wouldnt play a game this year. He is only playing because there is no one else and Millers pathetic efforts.

If McGuane is still at the RFC next year it weill be a list management blunder of the highest order.

The cards have long been shown on Whitey, Luke and Webberly and i am positive that all 3 were earmarked for axing at years end many weeks ago hence none have played prior to the injury and Conners Martin debacle.maybe Post also.

There is no way the club wouldve by choice had McGuane and Derrickx in the senior 22 forward line if they had other options and had Miller kicked 4 goals against the Crows and Martin and Grimes available neither Derrickx or Luke wouldve played last week and probably wouldve been in the twos for the rest of the season had the injury gods stayed kind.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

Ok I am going to suggest something that could be deemed insane but maybe muscles could be a forward.

He could have bagged 5 goals possibly 6 last week. He played very much within his limits ie handing off etc and if he took those chances and they came off he would have got a bag or more than likely none.

Another crazy thought is he could be worth playing in the forward line for the rest of the season and it may boost trade value and or it may just work for us.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

Whilst leysy has no issue with Luke playing ATM, lets not get carried away.

Tougher opponents than Lyndon Dunn he will face.

And maybe they will think it only Luke.
