Agreed.

What are you thoughts on King, Craig?

Dont rate him either never have.

Just a 5 ft angrier version of Mc Dud.

Lets be honest re these two boat anchors they do both try very hard and do give a contest but simple tin tacks is and ya cant escape escape cold facts they are not good enough and are lacking in too many facets to be long term contributers to a flag push. Ive said it ad nauseum so many times im sick of writing it and most here sick of reading it that as long as the RFC is being represented on field by blokes such as King, McDud, Polo , Moore, Nahas, White ect the club will not get to where we all want it to be.

I reckon another 12 have to go off the list anyway so these 2 are not alone in my view the list is full of not good enuffs, i still think the list is quite poor re sheer talent and footy smart types in the big scheme of things, too many eggs in too few baskets another huge cleanout and smart draft is desperately important to carry the club forward..

Riewoldt, Cotchin, Martin, Foley, Deledio, Astbury, Griffiths, Post, TV, Connors, Nason, Taylor is a good start to build from.

Spot on.

Thought PRE was going crazy for awhile. People talking about duds like White, King improving and won't be cut.... :hihi

Fair dinkum, we need another massive cleanout. People need to stop clinging to mediocrity. It's why this club has been in the *smile* for the last 30 years.

McGuane aint smart he is one of the most footy DUMB , undisciplined and poorly skilled, composure deficient trucks on the list.

It's funny craigo, given Luke's such a dud you'd think young Alex Rance would be putting pressure on his spot. ;)

Me thinx youve found yourself another Dud Crush my DEar Tooheys ......... 7 years you wasted on Snoozy now ur on McPencil.
Oh well some never learn heh heh heh heh.

As for ol Alex hes in a hole and a half that one.

Just as lacking as McGuane it seems in all departments, except hes got a bigger build and as per my sister is much better looking ha ha ha , i do NOT rate McGUane one iota and to be honest ive lost faith in Alex too one cannot see serious flaws in one player without seeing the same flaws in another.

Alex is seriously a player without a position right now, he has an enormous amount of improving to do.

Yep we all have our favourites and I don't think anyone gets them all right.
He's got his shortcomings but I like Luke's go. I make no apologies for that.
He's the polar opposite of Sarge. if you put the two together you'd have a good footballer.

No guessing who would be the taker..

We do indeed Barnzy, not sure why people want to keep McGuane, White, King, etc. Can't people see the correlation with Schulz, Raines, Zantuck, Hartigan, Fleming etc etc etc........

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

For all McGuanes mediocrity it is interesting in another thread posters are worried about LeCras kicking a bag, McKinley also mentioned. Doesnt seem anyone is too worried about the eagle in the top 6 for goalkicking in the league, Kennedy.
there must be a bit of confidence McGuane will, again, stop his opponent.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

I do look forward to craig's Thursday evening seagull posting.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

Thought Luke did a pretty good job on Kennedy today. Made a couple of fluffs in one short passage of play but marked and kicked well on the whole.

I thought Astbury was on Kennedy from the start

Usually I'd know but not this time. Astbury spent time at CHB and worked although getting a hiding. He was on Kennedy for a bit.

Her's a whacky notion: I thought Kennedy was poor and that Astbury had a future, not sure where.

FWIW I wouldn't trade one Jack for ten Kennedy's. Blue collar CHFs are eminently forgettable. (If we had a focus on shutting hin down he wouldn't be able to draw a football next week.)

Luke had a clasic 2010 Muscles game. He slaughtered them in the air and then brained our team when he had the ball. I was once a fan but I aint no more.

Marking time IMO.

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

Hardwick gave Muscles a big wrap in his presser after game. Then again what would he know? ???

Re: Luke McGuane = Guts

I like Hardwick, H. First up I'll say that whatever I thought he should do he's done. That'd be a bias by now.

He has a prejudice for hard arse footy. (Wallet liked au pair slave *smile*.) Muscles didn't just get his nick ironically. He plays hard.

But he aint improved like a dozen of his mates. Lace-Out? Must improve if he's to be part of the Premiership challenge. (And if Marto and Chimper go on this can happen.)

Beavis is lauding nuts. You wouldn't normally have to but Terence hated them.
