He's given us plenty of highlights.
Will be missed.

Good luck Luke.

I will remember you for your 100% committment to the cause.
Spot on.
100 game player and worthy of thanks from true Richmond faithful.

Releasing Luke ? He knocked back 2 contract offers from the club, mid season and end of season.

Good to see history being rewritten before he's even packed his locker.

meh, some have the blinkers on. it is racing season after all. you really think RFC are losing sleep? there are players who walk and players who are let go.

We can't go back in time, but I will always wonder how better/different a player he may have been had he been developed as forward in his early tiger years.

A good thing overall I reckon.

Just shows with a good core team that we had this year honest tryers like Luke can play a role. But it now gives the opportunity to griffiths, Elton and Mcbean to step up if they are good enough to be the third tall, and will be able to contribute when surrounded by quality and big bodies in jack, Ty and Edwards.

Luke always seemed like a good guy and gave his all. I wish him well.

Say it one last time, luckiest footballer ever to be drafted when we took him.
That he managed as many games as he did is a sign of how bad things were at the club for a long time.

He played his best footy for us in the fwd line where he played as a junior - miller and plough decided Gaspar & Chubba were finished and defence was handed over to thursfield Moore and McG. Silly bastards

So we placed a value on his head that the player didn't like and we let him walk.

That's released.

If the club wanted him, they would have made sure they kept him like they did with Conca & Martin.

Released? He's an unrestricted free agent isn't he?

The club didn't stop him, didn't aggressively want him to stay. Free agents can stay.
