Whilst I don't see Luke possessing near the overall natural footballing talent of Sarge, I still think he could have a some impact if presented with the opportunity up forward. On occasions he showed real ability there in 13.
Brisbane is a good fit for him. Aerially especially he will keep defenders very honest.
Watch this space I guess.

Yeah well Brisbane still play Raines so yeah Luke might fit in quite well.

He's going to look pretty foolish if he's walked out on Richmond to a whole lot of nothing.
Yep, heard a grab on radio with Muscles this morning. Seems to have put plenty of eggs in one very holey basket. Hope things work out for him n he gets a crack at Brisvegas, always got a soft spot for the honest toilers that bust their proverbials to forge an AFL career.

All five of the top-30 draft picks who walked out on Brisbane were traded. Seems a lot needed to happen for the Lions to pick him up.
All traded for scraps n floor scrapings. Poor Leppa has walked in the front door while Brisvegas was in the back room getting thoroughly shafted. No doubt Brisvegas is going to need a miracle to replace what they've lost with this years draft. Probably gunna need to grab some honest toilers or state league guns with either late picks or pre season draft picks to hold the structure together, so Muscles should get a chance.

Muscles is going home to QLD.
he said this morning he's going to live up there whether he gets picked up or not.
Best of luck to you Lukey.

Shame really. May have been a poor defender but I thought he had found something once moved to the forward line.

Best of luck Luke. Wish we had of been able to trade him rather than lose him for nix though. Just sayin' ...

If a game went for one quarter I'd agree. But for large parts of games he was invisible. No doubt, loved his commitment to the cause but his decison-making and disposal skills left a lot to be desired. Hope he does well at Brisbane.

I'll miss the flying pencil. Ray Hall's successor in bringing in the lolz. No-one can claim that he didn't give his all, and I tip my hat for playing over 100 games. Deserves his name on the #16 locker.

It was ultimately Lukey's decision. Thanks for your efforts and fare ye well.

When I say "found something" I didn't mean enough to be in our best 22. He was never in our plans going forward I dare say but was a good insurance in case of injury.

I wish Luke all the best at Brissy - but not too much success especially against us.

I reckon he showed a lot of spirit. A good mark, more composed this year and I hope he goes on to have a great second half of his career at the Lions.

You never know how we would have turned out if we had kept him playing in his natural KPF position.
