Agree , was a marvelous servant to the RFC, gave his all, and boy , you can't ask for more than that :clapsmasha said:Good luck to McGuane.
Gave us great service when playing but probably knew the time was not far away.
All the best up in Queensland.

But if you think that we have Griffiths, Mcbean and Elton on the list who all play the same position then it's probably for the best that we part company.

gonna miss ya lads!
Anyone know what the go is with Nahas? Will he get a second go?

We are moving more towards the NRL model, like it or not. Players will be loyal to their teams while they are playing for them. Some will continue to be one club players, but others will move to get the best opportunity to play the game they love.
Although it is sad for supporters, it is what the players have wanted and is something I don't begrudge them. AFL is now more a 'business' and the 'employees' are just exercising their rights within that context.
Brooklyn Tiger said:definately sucks to see some players leave but so far we have also used FA to our advantage also - knights and more importantly Chaplin... Reckon we are miles in front still. So i don't think we can complain to much.....YET!!!
