Did he round it out with tripping over his own feet for the encore?

No but he did point at a young girl in the crowd claiming 'pretend footballer' abuse.

Fwd line resembles Bourke St. Mall rush hour these days, just headless chooks running into each other.
Back to basics please. Jack one out and clear the duds...OUT

Started off the year well but has crashed back to Earth.
AEdwards to have a crack next week or possibly a roll of the dice with Astbury or Griff

There is no way Griffiths will get a game. He can hardly get a touch at Coburg.

Realistically, Riewoldt's our only forward with any pretensions to class, with Vickery promising. The rest are basically battlers, supplemented by the input from resting mids. Knights going down has hurt our structure a bit.

What everyone has to remember is opposition analysis now is so good that if you have a guy who exploits a few poor match ups (remember he was playing on kids like Bootsma early in the year) then once they get a few games to wee the video they work out their strengths and target them. Luke, as we all know, is not great at a wide range of skillsets so now they know how to play on him in that role he will struggle until he gets inexperienced kids again. and those calling for A. Edwards, it will be the same. We may get a 1 or 2 game boost but they'll figure him out after a couple of games as well. I just see these as more games wasted by not playing the young talls.

I understand there is pressure to make finals but you'll be amazed what some young guys can achieve when they get the opportunity because we have a few who have a greater skill set than Luke.

I saw the writing on the wall weeks ago its now 4 games for 3 goals and not much else.....Aaron Edwards should have been given a go and if he does nothing in a few weeks being in the 1's then we try others sick and tired of mid to lower tier players holding their spots after many weeks of below average performances.

No. More. Mcguane.

Experiment over. Not good enough. Was exploiting his position as third tall with Jack and Vickery taking the two best defenders. Now with Vickery spending most of his time up the ground, is being found out as the incredibly average player that he is.

Leysy will repeat, From all reports is a good guy but Muscles is simply the luckiest footballer to ever get drafted. Not sure there has ever been such a limited player earn so much money from the game.

The short-sighted calls for him to be given another multi-year contract have certainly dried up. He is what he always is.

Lets roll through some young players that could be long-term players in his role Dimma. Please.

Agree Leysy it's time to put the McGuane experiment to rest for the good of our future development. McBean would offer more at this point in time and has more tricks. He also has form against grown men in the VFL.

Let's not think of A.Edwards either. He should be there in case everyone who is capable of playing forward is injured.

Tough night for all our key forwards. Barely got down there and often crap service when it did.

Tooheys unless you are a club driven agenda, give up. McGuane has been awful the last month and deserves to go.

Should never have got another contract.

When the going gets tough the tough get going. We need someone who can turn a game when it needs to be turned. Saying it's a tough night might cut it here and there, but McG's only ever been a placeholder until we find someone who can take the spot permanently.

Unfortunately Griff has traded his superboot for the superpower of invisibility, and Elton's being tried in defence because you can never have enough forwards playing back. I'm not sure who's ready but it's about time we tried to find out.
