Luke McGuane

I don't think that Luke has no strengths. He hits the aerial ball as hard as anybody since Richo but for the odd Jack fly.

But I think he's gone cold. I don't think he's giving enough. Sore knee? Sure. But Lovelace has to work harder. New Richmond demands better. PYFO, Flying Pencil.

Another episode for the McGuane comedy reel tonight. In last quarter he had 4 (of his 11 disposals) within 30 seconds, 3 of them missing his target. Only a Ncuane could achieve this amazing feat.

He and Nahas were hilarious with a cameo from Morris who jogs around exhausted with no idea of what to do seemingly. He certainly doesn't run to where the ball is, always to where it was a few seconds ago, then he's off again to repeat this act, again and again

Surely we must try Edwards now even though I preferred he and McGun combined together, but we have no clue in attack.

It was good while it lasted. But i think the gig is up.

We have given all the other duds retreads a go, time to bring in Edwards.

Agreed. We're never going to achieve anything with McGuane. Battler - nothing more, nothing less.

Yep I have given up. It's time to go.

SCOOP you win.

Mate, I take no pride in it. He is what he is. Gets found out against good sides. Doesn't have a ounce of footy IQ. Was never going to kick 40.

As long as we keep playing blokes like this we won't get better. Should have went at the end of last year but many supported his retention. The patch last year of mediocre football against sides that had given up shouldn't have saved him. But again, he should have been gone two years before his little burst last year. We ignored 80 games of average football for 6 games that meant nothing.

I don't blame McGuane, I blame Hardwick and the footy department for keeping him.

Another poor game but we will probably stick with him.

McBean could give us what he does which is little and he has upside. Or A Edwards.

Yep fair call. I was blinded by some of his work earlier in the year but when the heat was turned up the cracks and deficiencies appeared.
