Worst game for the year easily.
Makes me laugh though how some clowns come out of the woodwork after his first genuinely bad game. Where they been all year? :blah

Wasn't great against Geelong and Fremantle either. First 3 games were his best. Steadily downhill from there. 0 frees for, 7 against in the last 4 weeks. Sums unp McGuane in a nutshelll. Hope he can find that early form but with players like McGuane, once the opposition put some homework into him, he can easily be controlled.

Agree.

Only 2 goals the last 2 weeks and people weren't on his back because of his start to the year but now a 2 disposal 0 goal game. So 2 goals in 3 weeks after 11 in the first 5.

he is at his 'best' as a forward when he leads into space, which today was non-existent for us, hence no impact. still works hard defensively.
i do wonder though if they are getting closer to wanting to try Edwards in his place.

Why/How fail against such weak opposition? Really disappointed in him today, as I was hoping he'd kick a bag....decoying Jack someway.

I just wish we could try him and Edwards together rather than swapping as they are both different players.

Yet Vickery managed 9 marks (3 Inside 50) and Reiwoldt 6 (4)? Even King managed 2 marks inside 50. There was plenty of space, he just dropped everything tonight. It happens.

He was ineffectual in the air still made a contest.
I thought our small forwards were worse than our talls. Nahas had a shocker in particular.
For the amount of times the ball went inside 50 and crumbs were there where the hell was he?

Please! McGuane had 2 disposals, 1 was ineffectual and he gave a free kick away. I counted at least 3 marks he should have taken but yes he did make it a contest. Yes Nahas was shocking as well. We could have just played a 4 man forward line and might have had a better result.

??? Please? You've basically agreed with me.

Classic Richmond spanner that plays a couple of good games every 20 and gets to dine out on it for the whole season.

So true. Last three weeks have produced 2 goals and 21 touches.

Deserves to be chopped. Battler at best.

Ah, McGun is back to being McDud and we'll never win a premiership withi him in the side.

PRE normality has been restored.

I almost couldn't hear this post over all the champagne corks popping.

I have been a supporter of him this year but today he was terrible. That 50 metre penalty was inexcusable.
