You watch us fall for the old three card trick and give him a 2 or even worse 3 year contract , then he goes back to being a spud Biddiscombe style.

There is no way they wont resign him, and he will demand big money, maybe 350K,

McGuane should get another year on a low salary. No way will he get a multi year nor $350k.
 
I think the club is a bit smarter than that these days. With budding forwards coming through he will get a reasonable deal for his output. 2 years at around 300k is probably fair.

MCGuane's a free agent and I want him retained.
I don't care about posters who are dull witted and judge a player based on Wallace's ineptitude because he couldn't tell a Blackman from a forward.

I think all past and present presidents of McGun should be known as "The Wise Ones" and be called upon to settle any debate on which players are duds and which aren't.

sometimes I cant tell a blackman from a forward, especially when Im watching carlton or hawks. I hope and pray our forward line causes me such politically fraught confusion one day soon.
 
Agree but when he went back against other he reminded us why going forward saved his career.

Wheels starting to fall off again. Seems to be progressibely getting worse each week. Missed easy marks tonight and got in the way of team mates. Just wasn't pretty.
 
Classic Richmond spanner that plays a couple of good games every 20 and gets to dine out on it for the whole season.

We will know we are a serious side the day McGuane and Jackson can't get a sniff in our starting 22. Hopefully that day is soon.
