Are you suggesting one good game should earn some one a game in the seniors? I disagree with that. Consistency is what they are seeking.
I was half joking but Liam's been a pretty consistent goal kicker at that level. Has kicked multiple bags. It's not just one good game.

Kicked 5 today. Let the next farce begin...

3 in the first quarter as well. Ever since Miles got promoted we need a new farce. People have been pushing Darrou for 'farce' status, while forgetting about McBean.

A lot of people a setting themselves for a huge fall, but that's how some operate around here..

A way too go yet in body mass an strength but I'd give him a gig , we have TY an Jack so he may just get a few light match ups, reckon a month of AFL footy would be good for him baring injury

Has he been really been consistent enough this season to warrant a place in the 1sts? I think the answer is no. Alright he kicked 5 today but last week was not rated that well by Tim Clarke. A couple more good consistent weeks in the 2nds and maybe use him for the GWS game to see how he stands up to the AFL pressure. Certainly wouldn't consider him for a match next week against Port

If this guy was any good he would be playing AFL games by now.

We seem to pump up players very early in their careers at Richmond only to end up all with the same type.

Good luck McBean and I really hope you make it. But not holding my breath.

So by your logic Miles was no good because he was stuck in the VFL for half the season.

We are really writing off a 19 year old full forward, who along with Jesse Hogan was probably the most damaging forward in the VFL last season, and who is currently behind a 2 time Coleman Medallist in the pecking order? What a ridiculous comment.

McBean has also dealt with injuries this season. He's been in the system for 2 bloody seasons, can we not give him some time to physically mature instead of throwing him to the wolves?

Well said.

Why can't we leave him to develop in the vfl until he is definitely ready? I reckon our forward line has been alright over the last few weeks.

Miles will be a standard Richmond player by this time next year.

Not Miles fault but more the Richmond FC will turn him into a negative mind set player.

All I'm saying about McBean is fans and Richmond can see a star in the making.

all I'm seeing is the pressure will be huge on this kid and pressure will be too much.

He was going to get a nod last year when he did his injury, will get a go as a 3rd tall id say in the next week or so, think he will stay in for years end regardless of what ge does, and he should, another pre season and bulk up has massive upside. cant wait to see more of him
