If you put McBean in at FF now he'd end up broken - badly. Then in two years Phantom would be complaining that we don't develop our talls properly.

I agree there. He looked all at sea in the pre season game, a boy playing against men, and that level isn't the same as H&A season. Jack must have stolen some chocolates or something from Phanto just recently with the down he's developed on him.

Exactly,
That's why I posted that McBean should either be debuted on a wing in the seniors to give him open ground to run, minimise body contact and get a feel for the pace of the game; or left at FF in the twos to gain confidence by kicking as many goals as he can.

Whether Reiwoldt plays for another season or two at FF is neither here nor there. It's very much like Lloyd at Essendon after Lucas retired. We actually learnt how limited Lloyd was as a forward, when he wouldn't go to CHF until it was demanded of him.

To me, it is all about building for a future premiership and finding and developing the players that will take the team there.

So we're back into rebuild again? There's another 5 years down the drain.

You've actually seen and heard her? I was starting to think she was a figment of the imagination.

Thanks for that!

I liked what Peggy O'Neal had to say. "...no scapegoats ... no starting again ....", just a relentless surge to reach the top of the tree, and that's how it should be.

Well said Peggy!

FF at the start of next season? No.

A rebuild never stops. The list just keeps moving. It never stops.
