can someone brighten our days with a cm by cm description of beanies crumbed goal yesterday?

3 goals on come back? another couple of weeks and its definately time to end the original farce.

we've only been crap cause Beanie's not in. Its that simple.

There is some video highlights of the game on the club's website, but I think we're not allowed to post specific links.

One thing I did notice a couple of times on saturday was that Beanie went for the ball one handed - using his "good" hand. Obviously his broken finger was still troubling him a bit.

Didn't realise. So is that why he was wearing a glove?

Needs to be played. If only for his glimpses. He is the only bloke that might bring RFC fans back to watch games this year.

Yep. Thats why he was out injured. Same as when Vlastuin did his finger but out a week longer.

don't need to start again and rebuild again Peggy. Need to step it up to the next level by replacing hardwick with someone that can coach at that level.

huh?

McBean needs to be given a few senior games just to see how he reacts at the top level. He needs to be told that he is not there to win matches off his own boot or do anything special, just to get a taste of the big time and for the club to see if he has the necessary composure to take the next step.

Just keep all of the "Game Plan" and "Role" *smile* away from him and tell him to simply play football when the opportunity arises, and make an opportunity for yourself because they are not handed out on a plate at top AFL level.

There are plenty of players who have a bit of skill but don't go anywhere, we all need to know if he is more likely to be one of these or someone that will succeed.

Just play him, play Elton John too
Stop playing these hacks.
If I see Morris grab for his shoulder one more time, I will spew up. That arm will pop off totally one day

Has to play.. Whats the point future in A Edwards???? Play the kid, let him know that at this level its that much harder, quicker and let him get a taste of what ti expect. Watch the last half at punt road and loved his sticky hands, ball delivery to him was terrible and when in a 50/50 contest did very well.

Play him... invest several games in him for the long haul

The point of playing the likes of Edwards and Petterd is to reward consistent good form in the reserves. These two are streets in front of others in the twos. granted miles should have played before now.

The problem I have is the likes of Morris and Houli should be replaced based on merrit/non negotiatiables.

Kicked 5 today. Let the next farce begin...
Aren't you forgetting you have to 'earn the jumper' at Richmond. Can't just be handing out games to talented youngsters until they prove themselves!!!

Are you suggesting one good game should earn some one a game in the seniors? I disagree with that. Consistency is what they are seeking.
