Re:Its Beany time

It's Beany time.

Kicked 3 today and has had three weeks rest prior due to the broken finger which would have rested the assortment of ankle injuries he was carrying.

Might as well bring in Madonna and Lloyd and Gordo to see what they can offer.

Not yet. He'd be absolutely smashed against the Swans.

We've got to win about 13 or 14 straight from here to win the flag so I wouldn't leave it any longer. ;D

Swannies would be a good test. They might have to drop Buddy on to him in the second half after Beanie goes bat crap crazy!

Shame it's not the warm, dry time in the footy season.

Last season, 14 games for 37 goals.
This season, 6 games for 12 goals.

Personally, I might consider two alternatives, being:

1. Leaving McBean in the twos this season as regular FF, seeing if he can get past 40 or 50 goals. Trade Riewoldt, and start McBean at FF at the beginning of next season.

2. Alternatively, McBean could debut on a wing now, to get the pace of the game, then start at FF at the beginning of next season.

I'm okay with him debuting on a wing, there is no way Dimma would go anywhere near that sort of decision making.

Correct weight mld.

Shame Dimma doesn't have an adventurous, enterprising bent.

Needs to build a tank. He'd be subbed off in 1 minute. ;D

If not a wing,
Then, it becomes alternative 1.

Let him stand on the goal line and just lead for 20 metres so he keeps his breath for long enough. A bit like Fred Cook did at Port Melb. ;D

Kid needs to be thrown in for a few games soon, let him have a look from a flank or pocket just to find out the levels he needs to aim for over next pre season.
