I know people say play McBean but really shows nothing to me.

B2 out of our list who would you prefer to be given a go?

Don't be seduced by a couple of posters who have continulosly heaped praise on a VFL standard player.
If he played for another club you wouldn't give him any credence what so ever.
Stop looking for things that aren't there.

So true, when you mention McBean to other supporters they have no idea who he is.

Other supporters probably don't know who's playing in the VFL.

The kid can play. His record at VFL level shows it. He's had very little opportunity.
Vickery will give us nothing we haven't seen before and he had more than three games in a row to show something.

We've turned a Coleman medalist into a flanker/wingman for gods sake. Don't say the coach knows what he's doing.

ATM Vickery is a better option, people on here after Sunday's game wanted blood after that poor performance and sort of forgot we bought in a few new kids who are not ready yet. But again people expected us to challenge Hawks with those ins!
If we want to move Vickery on next year he has to play last few games to give us any hope of getting rid of him..

But to me as bad as Vickery is he is still a better player than McBean, sorry. McBean is way not ready.

Good luck at your new club, Liam.

I hope you have a strong hand in sealing Hardwick's fate next year.

Yep. Dimma doesn't rate him. Not a favourite. 2 games was just a formality. Ol' mate Vickers back in for 745th attempt. Dimma's fixated with trial & error.

Do not blame Hardwick, kids got to show something, was ordinary against Essendon and that was a great chance to kick a few goals against the worst defence. Against Dogs he didn't read the play well and didn't work well with Riewoldt.

Hmm so drop him for Vickery. Pure joke. McBean had to play the last 5 games. Nothing to lose. McBean will get to another club. Plenty to work with. The Tigers can't see the forest through the trees. Hardwick has lost the plot.

Yes correct. Jack can't kick a goal from a set shot and he knows he is playing every game.

McBean is told he is playing for his life in 3 games - pressure anyone..?

On top of the usual goalkicking pressure every player feels... Amd struggles with. Well McBean was under more.

Whether he is good enough or not, the handling of him has been atrocious and typifies the hit'n'miss development under this 7 year coach..

Neutral unbiased commentators on the radio were saying he did ok. As for hissy fits and being seduced by other posters, give me a spell. Opinions are like a-holes, and I formulate mine on my own.
Has been given no chance to develop some confidence and belief -
And I posted exactly the same thing about Schulz before we axed him.

How anone can defend Vickery is beyond me. After his hissy fit performance last game Vickery should have never been allowed to play in the Richmond jumper again. He's a selfsh, lazy player who has got away with playing an Afl career purely because he's at Richmond.

Agree with this. Need more than the odd deft handball. Physical presence is lacking for someone that has been in the system as long as string bean. String bean unfortunately has no elite AFL qualities. Makes sense to get Ty back in.

If he gets delisted, I'm sure the Bummers might pick him up via a Joe Daniher's referral.

What chance does 2 games give a tall to show his skills? Why bring Vickery back in? Are we back in finals contention??

Vickery's displayed loads of AFL qualities recently. He's a gun.

What are Ty's.?

Only makes sense if Vickery has some photos of Hardwick in comprising positions, otherwise makes no sense at all.

All I'm saying Vickery is a better player than MCBean, Vickery had his punishment for 3 weeks and McBean didn't show anything. I hope we part ways with Vickery and will hope another team try's to get something out of him that we cannot do at RFC.

Disappointing. Thought he provided more structure, defence and intent than Vickery has for a long while. Pity for Liam that Vickery needs to be trade value because the club needs it. I admit i'm torn a bit here because I think Vickery has definitely got what it takes to make it - I just don't think he is coached to his potential, its just my take that if he was harnessed to his potential we have our FF CHF ruck covered but the game plan needs him to dominate slow moving entries and packs of players almost 100% of the time. The lack of "game plan" or inappropriate use of it compared to players strengths has ruined many a player in our jumper.

No way Tigers and Vickery are parting ways. He'll be signed up for another 2 years now, it's probably already agreed. If I have to watch his insipid performances for another 2 years I'll be sending Richmond the bill for my shrink.
