Liam McBean

Why does the club I support disappoint me so often.

I bet Hardwick was never told 'you have 3 ganes..'
Just cos I have to....

Good luck at your new club, Liam.

I hope you have a strong hand in sealing *smile*'s fate next year.

Will be delisted.
Won't be picked up by another club because he isn't good enough.
Had plenty of time to bulk up or at least improve his strength.
Don't blame Dimma, have a good look at the player himself.

with Griffiths out injured

Vickery had to come in to be second ruck

We saw McBean in ruck in last quarter when both Hawks ruckman took marks in forward line

Hopefully with McBean out - Jack plays full forward

i hope McBean walks, the club has cruelled his career. He has talent, and is being deprived of opportunity by a dud coach who prefers a useless scarecrow. Not been given as many opportunities as Vickery. He'll Cleve Hughes was given more of a go. Sigh.

I thought I saw McBean in defence last week, which i can't recall the last time the scarecrow was asked to play as a key back.

Ask Vickery what defence is, and he'd say "defence, it's de thing that surrounds de oval".

You speak sense Ryan, but the hissy-fits will continue. Bean could have hung on maybe as the third tall given the Griffin is out. Really shows what the coaching staff think of Bean.

The thing with the Bean is his best footy will be from 26-30. Probably in the ruck, Cox-style. He's 22 soon. So do you keep him for four years?

I've always been a fan. But VFL footy is very different to AFL. The reason the coaches are on him to work up the ground is because forwards have to in the big league.

Everyone has to be able to run, even a 'deep forward' has to spend half his time the wrong side of centre half forward. That's the way the game is. I had hoped reduced rotations might herald a return to positional football, but flood-kick-chase is still the dominant method.

I don't know where that leaves Beanie.

Do not blame Hardwick, kids got to show something, was ordinary against Essendon and that was a great chance to kick a few goals against the worst defence. Against Dogs he didn't read the play well and didn't work well with Riewoldt.

Seagull in the ruck ? He's too afraid to get off the ground and doesn't like body contact
Expect Jack to play between wing and Full back
Main forward will be Lloyd

Don't be seduced by a couple of posters who have continulosly heaped praise on a VFL standard player.
If he played for another club you wouldn't give him any credence what so ever.
Stop looking for things that aren't there.
