Ok, got it, don't quote thyself.....

Heh heh heh you had to scroll back to 2011 to find something remotely connected to the discussion but still posted something that cannot even be followed. I used to think you had it all over leysy, might have to re-assess those battles.

Some perspetive............

First 3 games: kicks , marks , hb , Goals

Vickery 7k 16h 8m 1g
McBean 12k 10h 7m 1g
Riewoldt 12k 9h 12m 3g
Griffiths 4k 8h 3m 1g

Franklin 2ok 8m 9h 4g
Roughead 10k 7m 13h 3g

Unlike McBean, all the other names here debut prior to 2011 when the sub rule was introduced, and in most cases had their 3 games consecutively.
The most important question that needs to be asked so that we can establish the validity of these stats is what was the individual age of the aforementioned players and how long had they been on a club list at the time of playing their third game.
Without that valid reference point the stats are just meaningless numbers. Would also be relevant regarding timeline if a player had spent a long period recovering from a major injury prior to achieving
his three game milestone.

For a little more perspective, all of those talls played their first 3 games in their first year. It's Liam's 4th .

Yep, n it makes a massive difference to how you rate their performances.

Can you manually correct spelling within the quote box?

Whether he makes it or not, I just understand why it has taken this long to be given an opportunity ,

When Vickory was given so many , time after time , when not playing well anyway

Hang on ToO, you can't have it both ways. You have questioned Hardwick's judgement on several occasions this year.

But with McBean we are assuming his non-selection all this time is valid?

I remember Liam kicking bags on his first year. The smarts were there.

Let's not ignore the coaching road block he has encountered.

Maybe McJesus should have sent his old man an email n asked him to smite down the heathen road block. Or...........................done something he shoulda been doing better at magoos level.

I'm not ignoring anything. Just pointing out that the presented stats don't mean a great deal in context.

Of course you can have it both ways on the complexities of coaching. You can have it a billion ways. You can have an overall opinion good or bad of course, but you can also still say he did certain individual things good or bad.

Anyway Beanie gets a chance now those nasty coaches have seen the light.

The pace of the game was vastly different to what he's used to. Doesn't matter what age he is, it was his third AFL game.

The fact it was only his third in four years is on Hardwick, not Liam.

I thought Beano was disappointing. Looked out of his depth and made little impact. Thought a couple of his efforts weren't as strong as they should have been.

But it was his 3rd game and Vickery has been getting away with worse for at least 3 years. Hopefully Handbrake gives Beano a sustained run at it. There's no reason not to; let's see what he's got.

Well at 1.1 and 6 disposals he gave the same output as Ty so no loss there.

But he,ll need to lift his output before the season is over. Go harder a bit more. It was only a little thing but his lightning handball to Jack ( who snapped a point from it) was brilliant. It was so quick the commentators didn't even notice it.

Still think that those figures presented are entirely useless.

Was slightly disappointing.

Needs to get fitter, but this taste will give him the carrot he needs to do that work.

He does play smart though and helped make our forward line more cohesive.

The Dogs at Etihad are as tough a defence as he'll play this year as well. Will find more space to leadup at the ball against other teams.

there was a few incidents where he stood well behind his man hoping for the kick over for a cheapy.
I thought he played very similar to Vickery.

Yeah yeah I know you'd keep Hardwick.
