i didnt notice watching the game, but can someone tell me if he had the 196cm/90cm Roberts (who looked skinnier than McBean), the 190cm Morris or the 186cm Easton Wood on him?

some talk up his contested marking but it was disappointing he couldnt take a few more marks when he was the tallest player on the field.

hopefully he can improve over the next few weeks.

Not sure, leysy only got as far as the London Tavern Sat night. ;D

But are you saying he should have been able to pluck a decent haul of contested marks against those guys?

Only just got to watch his game on the weekend. Looked out of place to me. Had that apologetic look about him much of the night. Looked to be the most awkward guy on the ground. Was glad to hear Dimma profess in his presser that Liam will play the next two games. Other players have had better runs at it. Ball is in fwd line now.

Like Dimmer said, he was skulking around the fringes like a fox terrier thats eaten a chook.

As he gains a bit of confidence, and gets a bit of encouragement and direction from Jack, I expect he'll display his wares and impact a game.

Love that Richo has read this thread :hihi

Has he? What did he say?

On the telecast saturday night he said a couple of things where you could hear his grin.

Like "Yeah tiger fans have been waiting a long time for Liam BT"

"Liam has a bit of a cult following amongst tigerfans"

It was abundantly clear that Richo had chuckled along to this thread.

Don't believe anyone has talked up Liam's contested marking the opposite is true. Hopefully his mate Daniher has sent him a copy of his own speccy last week to show him how it's done.

I get the feeling Beanie is in our plans for next year. At least under serious consideration. It looks very much like Vickery is getting the chop. This is the Beanie try out.

A little bit more active. The old clean hands. Influence the ball in the air. Kick the goal. He knows what he's gotta do.

If he kicks one early-- it could be a Beanfeast!

I see it more as Vickery needed to be dropped & McBean due to being on the list for a few years needed to be given a chance to see if he is worth retaining for next year & beyond.
