He does look to have more clues than Vickery. He keeps moving after the initial contest to try and assist with ground ball recovery which Vickery appears very unwilling to do most of the time.

A very good point Billy.

He should be given till the end of the year not told 3 games and then to be assessed. Its like Dimma doesn't want to be proved wrong in is no selection of McBean in favour of the outdated plasma TV.

I truly hope he takes his opportunity and asserts himself out there. Like BJ mentioned he wants to get involved. Also similar to others the forward line looked more open and potent rather than with "mr structure/zoned off" TV.
As Dimma said he did look nervous. Well what do you expect based on his previous handling of him.

Well good luck McBean, get out there and kick butt !

I think you needed 1.1 WT. Tigertim has already been pumping himself up.
That was pumping myself up? Geez, you don't get out much do you?

Watched him closely last night.

It was very interesting watching the constant communication and the F50 movement with he and Jack. IMO, the fact Jack was
left one out quite often, they worked well together. What/who failed was whoever was on Wood. Or, if he was the loose/spare
in defence, then the coaching box bombed again. Not the first time the 'loose' man in the other team was their teams best player.

Yeah that lmid is an real problem for our coaches box isn't it?

They just can't seem to work out how to combat it

When you start quoting your own posts a la leysy then yes, you are pumping yourself up.

This will upset a few people. But in the last qtr he missed a mark that could've put us by 2 goals. If can't impact the pack or the opposition he will never make it. He could've destroyed the Footscray player coming back towards him, but he allowed him to Touch the ball.
Barry Hall or Garry Ablett would've killed him.
I would give him the last 7 games. That's all. Shows nothing see ya later

Correct.

As usual Tim has a long way to go.
Tim concedes when it comes to knowing everything about everything he has a long way to go to reach Leysy.....

I don't remember any player killing anyone. Hall nearly did but he was given a pretty large suspension for it.

Agree. Showed nothing. But needs more than seven game exam. 1 more preseason 1 more year

Some perspetive............

First 3 games: kicks , marks , hb , Goals

Vickery 7k 16h 8m 1g
McBean 12k 10h 7m 1g
Riewoldt 12k 9h 12m 3g
Griffiths 4k 8h 3m 1g

Franklin 2ok 8m 9h 4g
Roughead 10k 7m 13h 3g

Unlike McBean, all the other names here debut prior to 2011 when the sub rule was introduced, and in most cases had their 3 games consecutively.

Ok, got it, don't quote thyself.....

Might be a good time for the Gold Coat wooden spoon backers to lay off at around $1.58 and take some profit. Can get $7ish Lions and $8ish Kangas who could lose to rebounding Port Power in Adelaide this week putting their season at great risk.

Now is the time to back the Gold Coast moving out to $2.50ish.
