My opinion FWIW is that McBean should not need top form in the reserves to get a gig as Vickery doesn't need top form to stay in the seniors to begin with.
It's time to test some of these players out and chop the one's who have had multiple chances and simply not delivered over and over again.
That's my two cents worth.

That's a what a lot of us have been saying... There are a few on here defending the non-selection of McBean by saying he hasn't been performing in the reserves.
My argument is 1. It doesn't seem to matter how you're performing in the reserve if you want a spot in the seniors, and 2. Regardless, he has been perfoming, and has been the best performing player in our reserves for the past 2 years.
But never gets a game.
Same goes for Markov, Marcon and Castagna.
No wonder the supporters (like myself) are getting frustrated with this current regime.

We could easily fudge a reason to throw a game or two at Markov, Drummond n C Moore in coming weeks if we wanted too. There's enough just marking time in the seniors that could do with a freshen up on the early shift.
McBean will be a superstar.
