Benny could sack everyone then resign. Worth the lack of stability to retain the Bean.
GET IT DONE BENNY

Maybe the sides lose because the forwards don't play well?jokershoppe said:HOW many forwards play well in regular loosing 8-10 goal sides, should get minimum 4 games to see what he can do, if he turns out at another club, it would be another nail in usc supporters cofins, and we are starting to look like a bed of nails.
lamb22 said:As I have said before Hardwick never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity and that includes driving a top 4 list into the ground through unfounded confidence in the "Richmond Way" incompetence and neglect.
Baloo said:We need to bring Post, Gourdis and Putt back as well.
lamb22 said:Yep, hate to lose the stability of 6 goals plus losses every week.
Imagine actually getting a coach that has a clue and assistants that aren't on smoko 24/7.
Dross good. Instability bad!
antman said:Agreed! One Bean is worth more than all those other people put together!
Astute posting Lamb.
rosy23 said:That makes it sound like he has a very questionable attitude. By all accounts...well maybe all bar 2...he's not exactly starring at VFL level.
lamb22 said:You know, I should be miffed but your dissembling posts just give me a laugh.

lamb22 said:I suspect Liam is quite bright. You can put up with people talking crap for a while and give them the benefit of the doubt.
It appears Liam has stopped listening. Sad for us supporters. Great for the new club that lands him. Port would be ideal for him but he may want to form a duo with Joe at Essendon.
I posed this question a few pages before(below), surprised no-one responded directly including you, but was seriously interested in whether anyone close to the club, or with contacts in the know, thinks it likely? Others seem to have confirmed since, that it is. It will be a joke if we lose McBean in this way without fair testing at AFL level.
Re a related post of yours comparing Bean's treatment with Griff, muddying the waters a bit, as you know G has played more as a ruckman, utility, resting forward/ruck, or down back than McBean might have. Plus has probably missed far more games with injury problems etc. Just saying.
But rather than all the bickering over individual players, the greater issue is the failure of our talls overall. Have we just picked the wrong ones, eg instead of Lynch etc? Or just failed to develop them properly? Just more evidence of club's low football IQ or what?
Even by sheer luck, it is hard to believe that hardly any of our big men is regarded as a really successful player yet.
But if anyone thinks any one player, whoever you pick on, can or will transform the malaise at this club, you are kidding yourself.
[Could the Bean be p!ssed off enough to have accepted an offer to go elsewhere after a staged delisting end of this season (is he only contracted till then, can't remember)?
Would not be at all surprised if Essendope have been sounding him out. Didn't they want to draft him? Lives with Joey D.]

Gourdis and Post were actually very promising at junior level. You can't expect to get every tall right but there's no doubt in my mind we burn more than our fair share of good young talls.
Best thing Shulz ever did for his career was getting traded out of Richmond
lamb22 said:Spot on. He is pretty much a freak continually kicking bags of goals in such a poor side with particularly poor users in midfield.
Sparked up when Miles went down to VFL level (another mind boggling decision by the selectors).
Really has no one of any skill at VFL level bar perhaps Marcon. Lennon plays half back, Madonna's gone. Corey Short and Menadue promoted.
Mellington is OK but doesn't get a lot fo it. Scott is neat but likes to kick goals himself.
The rest are Townsend, Moore, Hunt, delisted scrubbers or suburban footballers.

Rancey18 said:Despite all the stuff posted on here (including rubbish like "earn it"), anyone care to explain how someone like Chaplin earned a spot in our forward line? Must have played exceedingly well to get in ahead of McBean who has put up performances the last few years that suggested he deserved a chance. Inconsistency at selection is a constant theme under Hardwick.
