Just need to get him to kick straight.
For an "elite" kick he doesn't nail enough shots on goal.

True. Will be less fatigued playing predominantly as a forward though and that may have an impact on accuracy.

We can have both. Hawks have Gunston and Breust.

Who is Dusty's comparison at the Hawks?

Rioli? Dominant 1 on 1 player who does their best work up forward with occasional pinch hitting in the midfield? Dusty probably gets the pill more often than Rioli and Rioili probably more effective with his possessions but as close to the comparable as we have.

Think Titch is a better comparison to Rioli.

So would a straight run up on a set shot.

Looking forward to the day the incomparable Dusty is elected into the AFL Hall of Fame.
It'll probably happen a few years after his career, not five years into it.

You asked for the comparison, who do you think is his equivalent? The closest is Dangerfield.

Yeah probably Danger, though Danger is miles better at contested ball & clearances than Dusty at present.

That, taking a bit more care with the footy and better defensive efforts are the area's for Dusty to improve to make the complete player.

How good would it be to have both

Yeah I'm a Beano sceptic myself Dyer'ere. No disrespect to the lad but I'll wait til he shows some form in the seniors before I start doing cartwheels.

When he does walk on water, feed the masses and heal the sick then you can all say "I told you so".

Heh heh. I'm hopeful about him, antman. But he is just about to enter his third year and I reckon he's done pretty well so far.

Dusty was a contested beast in his first year. He's been progressively used more outside, but his 57% winning ratio in one-on-ones (far and away the best in the league) show he's more than capable.

reports that Griff is going to play higher probably bodes well for Bean's prospects of getting more of a run in the firsts this year.

That'll mean same as usual for the 'Rone then.

From Dimma:
Reece McKenzie/Liam McBean
“Both are going well this pre-season and both have shown signs of improvement, be great to see how both perform in NAB Challenge if selected.”

Not even a NAB Challenge match is guaranteed for Beano. Get those burgers in son...

I found that odd too - I also found odd the comment that McKenzie has shown signs of improvement - based on what benchmark?

From when he first started training with us ?

As for Beanie, I hope he gets a run, a decent run thats televised, so I'll be allowed to comment on him.
