Personally I think he is a Rear Admiral as a footballer.

He used to admire the rears of just about every defender he played on. They were always between him and the ball.

Made one hell of a mess of him, reminds me of Colbert and Lonergan when they got smashed by knees.
Whats with bloody footballers and injuries? Somehow managed to play the game out and is now moaning he might not get back to playing this season even though he can barely run and still has a big lumpy blood clot floating around inside.
Put the feet up and get set for next year Yowie.
 
Sounds excruciating...... probably shouldn't be in too much of a hurry to run, surely walking would do for now. Hope he recovers and returns to footy healthy.
