As much merit in comparing against Nason as we took him with the pick we got for sarge.
well done to us for hedging our bets. Farmer is a bigger hack than Shoooolts by a mile but nason is diamond in the rough. didn't like it at the time but happy now

FWIW Streak, i know a bloke who sits in the box with Rocket Eade. He was also at the doggies when super recruiter Scott Clayton was there and he had rated JON top 10 and would have picked him before Shaun Higgins.

Must have seen the same video clip of JON on youtube.

Trederea and Ebert were both out and Schulz still wasn't selected. Exactly as you say, pretty damning. Then we have Raines. Adcock and Drummond out yet didn't get a game. Said at the start of the season they will be players in and out of their respective teams.

Our trades may or may not come good but it sure feels alot better knowing that we maximised our chances by not continuing holding on to these perennial non-performers even longer and hoping in vain that they will somehow come good.

One of the 'un-parochial' SA radio commentators last weekend mentioned that although the Tigers were playing 'better wet weather footy', Port were really struggling because they had a few 'big outs' such as Schulz ... So I assume he has been kicking bags for Port? ::)

Maybe 'big' outs is referring to anyone who is over 190cm tall.

Schulz being out would have helped Port

Was named SANFL player of the week, you can watch his five goals on PTV ;D

Sarge Schulz and Trengove have been involved in a melee/punch up during training.
Apparently Trengove took 2 swings at Sarge after heated words by Schulz following a marking contest.
They had to be separated by 9 players including skipper Dom Cassissi.

Oh Sarge, why didn't go show this aggression at the RFC?

they were arguing who was the lasiest player in the team.
Trengove lost becasue he actual put some effort in trying to punch out Sarge.

Don't tell me Trengove is getting in Schulz's way ala Richo. Schulz should have taken up a solo sport, tennis perhaps?

Also gotta love Port rolling out the newbie recruits to talk about how it shows how hard at it they are.
