As we discussed earlier in the week on the other thread no one was going to stop Riewoldt on the lead so why waste a winning matchup (Rance on Wilkes) by playing Rance on Riewoldt who also had an advantage close to goal (which he showed) when you could have played Griff (lost on lead but did better close to goal) and then all other matchups would have been winners. Ever wondered why Matty Scarlett and Dustin Flecther rarely took the best forwards? Sometimes it is best to concede possessions in certain areas of the field but dominate the inside 40m zone - Geelong's defence has been masters at it for years.
