A lot on here don't share your confidence or opinion!

I must be watching a different player if you think he is agile- are you just blindly defending every critcism or do you really believe he is good below his knees, hard at the ball and a good kick?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion I suppose
He is not cyril rioli below his knees but he is certainly adequate.

I just watch players and form my opinions over a longer period of time than a couple of weeks in inclement weather.

I will be watching Coburg with interest on Sunday to see how he responds.

This was on the cards. Was poor leading up to the bye.

Agreed. As i stated on another thread, it's good to finally have the depth to deliver a kick up the bum when required.

He has had a patchy year unfortunately.
Can put it down to youth, 2nd year blues or whatever you want but some nice marks aside, he's not been as impressive (clean) as he was last season.

Dimma's not happy.

Nor should he be, Batch was awful last time out.

Dropped on form. Fair enough.

Re: Pick 30 - Jake Batchelor

I wonder if the midfield experiment in the midfield unsettled Batch and shook his confidence. He doesnt seem to have the same poise he had last year.

There's a few in this boat in relation to who the positional story keeps changing - Dex, Astbury, Griff. Post as well though in his case more through mitigation than education.

Maybe some continuity required.

Changing position in a handful of practice games is the reason for his form loss? That's a stretch.
Far more likely that his injury interrupted pre season has played a part.

He was great against West Coast, best game of his career imo. The midfield thing was blown out of proportion. Just needs to get some fire back.
