Re: Pick 30 - Jake Batchelor

Can't beleive this was the same bloke who was outstanding against the Eagles. Looks lazy.

After watching him today and reading your post, you must feel really silly now.

Do you get satisfaction out of being right when one of our players has an ordinary day?
By this it would seem so...

Re: Pick 30 - Jake Batchelor

Is a smart player and will move on from this.....Cotch can have a bad game and not be blasted, Lids has had shockers and not get blasted, Maric can have a shocker and not get blasted. Seems armchari experts just have a player in their sights and want to slam them for one bad game.

He will come back hard against Adelaide at Moron Park and will show to his knockers that HE CAN PLAY!

And that he will be a vital part of a finals defence

I get no joy at all but read the insults that were hurled at me in the post, that were totally out of line.

all I did was have an opinion and as a subsequent poster pointed out, I also mentioned some of his good points.

I think when i am called "socially inadequate", I am entitled to point out where my opinion may have had some validity

That I probably fair enough then, as been called socially inadequate is probably crossing some lines.

Raped by the umpires today
I agree he will be walking funny after today, but he is still playing some poor footy. Has just fallen away from all the good things he was doing last year. needs a spell in the 2's IMO.

Re: Pick 30 - Jake Batchelor

still feeling the effects
of the tram running over his foot.

Re: Pick 30 - Jake Batchelor

Boy oh boy he was horrible today and showed just how much when he ran past the ball leaving his opponent goal side ready to pounce - lucky it went out of bounds.

His form has been derailed.

Must be that Joeline Bowden guernsey. As long as he doesn't become a Jackie Batchelor, I'll be happy.

Yeah doesn't look as assured and looks sluggish.
Still suffering the effects of an interrupted pre season?
One who'll appreciate the break.

Re: Pick 30 - Jake Batchelor

He was terrible today following on from a very shaky effort last week. Either Dea or Batch will exit next week and most likely the latter.

I think they will both be rested next week... ;D

Re: Pick 30 - Jake Batchelor

I reckon we need to get our players posting here, all this jumping on and off of bandwagons will do wonders for their fitness.

Re: Pick 30 - Jake Batchelor

He looks sore to me.
He fighting above his weight also, he'll be glad when Grimes is back in the side.

Re: Pick 30 - Jake Batchelor

A couple of howlers of freed against him. He'll be ok dont fret.

Agree on the first point.

If full fit, he showed today thta he will not be an option to pinch hit as a KPD. Shame, because I thought he might have been able to do that. He has a great defensive mindset and reads the play well.

Not really the sort of player we can drop at the moment, because I don't see an obvious replacement except for Kel Moore and I think he is a way off yet.
