Not unhappy with Batchelor, he is going to be a very good player imo.

Well based on his 2011 season, he has more poise than pretty much any other defender we have, so I hope so.

Collingwood's forwards are a better matchup for him (more marking options with way less natural ground speed) but who would you drop? None of the mid-range guys deserve to be dropped in my opinion. Unfortunately, for him I think he'll just have to bide his time.

According to Danny Daly, Batchelor started the year at coburg bc of fitness concerns. An interrupted preseason. Playing for Coburg means he has played 2 full games, rather than just the one he would have had in the ones.
Good to see him back.

Showed me some glimpses tonight that Jake the snake will be a very good contributor for the tiges in years to come.

He was very good. Great to have another player in the team that you don't have to worry about.

Very good player. Glad he was thrown outside his comfort zone in the pre-season to round his game out, he is going to be a great defensive general for us.

Maybe needs to cut the worm burner from his arsenal though, didn't come off a couple of times.

Good to see him in the thick of the scuffle without any fear in his eyes.

Happy with his game. Hopefully he'll keep developing his speed & stamina but he has HBF written all over him, with the occasional romp into the midfield. Doesn't look like becoming a permanent mid though. Hoping he turns into a Chris Johnson type.

Yep. If he gets better, then a permanent mid could be a possibility.
