Wasn't it? We laughed hard. The hammy grab cover up made it better. He knew he had to make something up to cover for it. He runs around like he he is All Australian. The Japanese warrior samurai hair do is as putrid as that shot on goal.

Agree on all points, especially the hammy grab. Cheap.

We could have had Luke Parker at this pick. Hope we don't regret this. Love Parker, reckon he will be a star.

Well done Brissie. i know others who follow juniors liked Parker too at this pick. Francis?

That miss kick was brilliant. It's that bad a miss kick that when you kick like that after a few too many beers with your other +40yo mates in the back yard, everyone takes the p!ss out of you.

Very good description, except more so when you all head to the park for a kick after a few beers at halftime, you can't have much of a go in the back yard. And comedy like that ensues when you have plenty of room to try and recapture the glory day. terrible.

Cmon you lot. He had a bad couple of possessions, some were funny some just cringe worthy. He still pantsed TVs output. Not much but about all i got to support the Batch tonight.

Thanks Tooheys. My therapist will be in touch. I'm supposed to be letting this go.

Seriously, I saw Parker play 3 times as an underage and a few times in his draft year. I knew he was something special from the first time I saw him. On the other hand, Batchelor never stood out to me. I remember I had to look up who he was and still struggled to remember him doing anything special the times I saw him.

Really don't know what this guy offers. Always hoped he'd be a Joel Bowden type. He is, but only of his bad qualities (occasionally lazy and slow).

Wasn't a great game. Problem is he's not our most reliable disposer or decision-maker yet yesterday he had only 1 contested possession and 15 uncontested. This typically means we're using him as a our go-to player which considering his skill level I wouldn't think would be the best use of his skill set.
What exactly is his skill set? Good contested mark? Don't think so, not tall enough. Reliable kick? That shot on goal was so funny, thought he had stubbed his toe but on replay even that didn't happen. Outside runner with ok disposal...sometimes. Just another seconds player.

Yep,I remember at the time thinking Parker will be a gun one day and we took Batch! ;D

Mentioned this last week. I'm just not sure what he is.

Tall defender - Not tall enough
Small defender - Not quick enough
Rebounding defender - Not quick enough or skilled

I'm just not sure what role he is supposed to have in the team. He really is a great example of the old adage, jack of all trades, master of none. Can do a bit of everything, just doesn't seem to be able to do many of them very well.

He's a pretty good kick on the run
You see that shank in the weekend and ... That will take a while to forget... But you can count on one hand how often he'll do that over 10 years

I'd just started to forget about that.

The year we should've got Heppell and Parker.

Yes, same problem that killed my AFL career. Not tall enough to be tall and not fast enough to be small.

Same as my golf game, apart from my long game and my short game I had everything.

*smile* I would have been happy with Conca and Parker.

Even better, Lynch and Parker

Utterly devoid of talent. That shank was comedy gold, grabbed his hammy to cover up.

How bad is Broad if this bloke is the preferred option?

Batch was part of the 2014 invincibles. "We've been there before". Hardwick doesn't want to look elsewhere

That is horrendous. A flag lost there. What was FJ thinking?

Batch has played some fair games at times but on the weekend he was absolutely shocking. It was Hunt-esque in that game early in the season. Can't see him maitaining his spot considering he only came in for Vlastuin late withdrawal anyway.
