I could be mistaken, but from where I was sitting Rance had to refrain himself from hitting him in the third quarter.

Peter Wright took an easy mark as Batchelor trailed in behind whilst Rance, who saw that Batch was stuck in 1st gear, left his man to try to make the contest. Rance looked to shove Batch in the shoulder out of frustration. Well that's how it looked to me anyway. I'm not sure if it looked that way on telly and I'm happy to be corrected if I've got that wrong.
Yeah he shoved him alright. Watch it get some mileage on the footy shows this week.

Utterly devoid of talent. That shank was comedy gold, grabbed his hammy to cover up.

How bad is Broad if this bloke is the preferred option?

Well you can't blame Rance for getting frustrated. He gives his all contest after contest. Constantly leaving his man to assist others and then he has to put up with paper cut out versions of team mates who think it's okay to give up on the contest and just plod around.

Absolutely.

Yep a few round me were saying good kick. I thought, not really as he missed his target by plenty, got lucky that Edwards was right behind.
I think Edwards predicted it too. As soon as he saw the ball was in Batchelors hand he just followed the promising Hampson lead.

Gotta be his worst game for the club. Just horrible to watch. Wasn't even suburban football level from what I saw.

I think you are underselling Hampson's classic running under the ball dummy run.

Hun has him at 62% DE , I must have missed those effective disposals .....

Essendon picked up Gwilt because no one wanted him. Batchelor is a poor mans Gwilt.

He is a frustrating player because each week we see his best and worst - he does some good things each week is why he keeps getting games but then his worst does cost us and we will never be a top 4 team with players like this - just look at his EL final last year

Bit harsh... His bad was bad but he did plenty of good no-one seems to remember

If a bloke makes a spectacular mistake that's all that people remember. Did some good things but some shocking things to be fair though.

Does a few dinky sideways 20 metre kicks that help with the % , even his pass to Edwards late no doubt was aimed at Hampson

Wasn't a great game. Problem is he's not our most reliable disposer or decision-maker yet yesterday he had only 1 contested possession and 15 uncontested. This typically means we're using him as a our go-to player which considering his skill level I wouldn't think would be the best use of his skill set.

He was pretty bad. Even got singled out for criticism by the commentary team. In a game where there were plenty of errors for it to stand out that much is rather damning.

That miss kick was brilliant. It's that bad a miss kick that when you kick like that after a few too many beers with your other +40yo mates in the back yard, everyone takes the *smile* out of you.

Wasn't it? We laughed hard. The hammy grab cover up made it better. He knew he had to make something up to cover for it. He runs around like he he is All Australian. The Japanese warrior samurai hair do is as putrid as that shot on goal.
