Jake Batchelor

One of my good mates is a former bush champion. Still playing local ressies at 51. He is still better than Batch

Back to Frankston Bombers next year. Actually started to feel for him in the end, was comically bad today

Even a commentator said "he hasn't had the best of afternoons".
Have been hoping Batch would make it , and he's shown glimpses, but he can't help make us a better side.

Say it again, less he gets of the footy the better it is for up.....actually felt sorry for him he was that woeful, pointless plying him again

Was dropped for a reason and today showed why he was dropped. Surely will lose his place for the Brisbane game. Vlastuin straight game in and Butchelor can spend the rest of his time at the Tiges in the 2's.

Slight defending of him though, whoever decided he was a good matchup for 2 metre Peter needs lining up and shooting.

Played good today besides that shank.

Our backline is better with him in it.

Do not know why people dislike him. I like him in the team.

I couldn't believe how many times Short was left one out to fly (for the want of a better word) against Lynch, Wright or Day. Something was breaking down seriously in our set up.

Which shank was that B2? There were many. My favourite though was when he tried to hit Hampson on the lead in the final qtr and it went over his head and defender chasing him and landed on Edwards' tit.

Yep a few round me were saying good kick. I thought, not really as he missed his target by plenty, got lucky that Edwards was right behind.

I could be mistaken, but from where I was sitting Rance had to refrain himself from hitting him in the third quarter.

Peter Wright took an easy mark as Batchelor trailed in behind whilst Rance, who saw that Batch was stuck in 1st gear, left his man to try to make the contest. Rance looked to shove Batch in the shoulder out of frustration. Well that's how it looked to me anyway. I'm not sure if it looked that way on telly and I'm happy to be corrected if I've got that wrong.
