As you say, HR ... "losing to Melbourne does my head in".
Imagine also if Jack Watts were to have a blinder and kick a handful of goals?!
How would our heads be then?
 
It's funny. Batch was central to mediocrity. So we restructured to replace him.

And then mediocrity was beyond us and now he's back.

Medicrity over crap any day. Batchelor already done more than most defenders have in the previous 4 games. He aint our problem dyerere
 
Outclassed tonight and pulled out of a contest which cost us a goal near the end of the second quarter.
Thought this bloke was a handy player but he is at the crossroads.
 
I keep saying this but he's a battler and not the answer. Just as invisible as Morris tonight.

Frank and Blair love their battlers. And Dan gives em multiple year contracts.

Yeah that was not good, short stepped it, fingers in only, cost a goal and momentum.
 
Did a couple of things in the first qtr but was absent after that. Was he playing after qtr time?

Wake up mate Parker at Richmond would be as bad or even worse then Batchelor.
We destroy kids. You can't go through 20 years of drafting 2nd & 3rd round kids and 90% of them are duds. No way.
 
In a sense, is symptomatic of our malaise.

Played every game in 2015 and finished 12th in the b&f. Yet somewhere in the pre-season he went over the hill. At 24.

WTF is going on with our player development?
 
Remember that woman who came in here to PRE to talk about recruitment, she said she was a Collingwood scout or member or something. She bagged us for taking Batchelor and Griffiths and said they'd amount to nothing. Think she said Griffiths was soft and injured all the time.

How prophetic those words were.
