Jack Dyer Medal 2024

Stop blaming the women. It’s so weak and absolves Daniel. He made the call.
Spot on. He’s leaving for money; pure and simple. And he doesn’t want to do the hard yards now that we’re down the bottom. Thanks for the memories but see ya later. Unless your pathetic new club doesn’t pony up 6 & 12 then you can stay and play out your contract.

No bending over Tigers. Make them pay the piper for these wantaway contracted players.

Couple of little quirks.
Prestia scored the highest average votes per game - 1.85, Rioli won with 1.74.
Maurice scored really well, 16 votes in 9 games - 1.78 - the 2nd highest average per game

Lowest average votes per game of what we can see (we don't have the full list of votes, only those with 10 or more which is 24 players), goes to Thomson Dow - 0.65 votes per game - even the coaches seem to be saying he's *smile* so can we just delist him please.

Absolute load of crap. Daniel loves Dimma. Unfair for anyone to slag his partner off.
id love someone from the club to explain Jack Graham to me. Polls poorly each year, but is a walk up start every season.

Polls less votes than Kosi from the same total games.

0.71 votes per game. Banks outpolls him at 0.93 per game. He’s closer to Dow’s 0.65 per game for gods sake.

Then we offer him a 4 year deal?????? I know he’s likely gone, but what is the fascination?

Hopper might have rivalled Dow?

Didn't finish in the top 24 (played 12 games) so best he could have done is 0.75 points per game.

Says a lot more on Jacob than Dow given he's paid probably 4 times as much.

Club's opinion may be based more on what he's done in the past rather than recent times., or he's had injuries we don't know about.

Proud of the club tonight

Thought we handled a very bad situation as well as we possibly could have

And we didn’t rig the vote either

Onwards and upwards

Maybe Hardwick would also like him on the GC? He could give us a first rounder. I mean that’s what he gave GWS when he convinced Hopper to come to us 9 games before he bailed.

Really really poor effort by Baker tonight. To think that’s the last time he represented the RFC. Drunken yobbo with zero carefactor tonight. He’d want to remember his roots and be a bit more humble when gets to the Eagles.

Boy Yze needs to make some big strides this year coming. Doesn’t appear to have impressed anyone, including supporters. The weirdest thing is players don’t even know what to call him. They refer to him by his full last name. Zero chemistry at this stage

And to think he was our VC this year. Disappointing way to go out.

He is coming from a looooonnggg way back. He has a hell of a lot of ground to make up and faces an enormous task. I fear it seems insurmountable.

Confidence is low.

They call him by his nickname Ooze which is what he prefers people to call him. Not sure where you see zero chemistry??

It wasn’t Ooze they were saying it was a stumble then just referring to him by full last name like he was still a stranger. Anyway, tough year and still deserves full support

Just watched most of the speeches.

Bakes and lesser extent Shai were *smile* poor. Especially Bakes.

For that to be the last time he represents the club. He should be embarrassed.

You know there is a fair chance you'll be going up there. Stay off the sauce until afterwards and treat the club with some respect.

And how hard is it to prepare some key words to elaborate on when you talk. It's 101 stuff.

These guys have managers paid a lot of money that should also be embarrassed not schooling them on simple etiquette and going out the right way.

Really poor and reckon he'll look back on it with regret (or should).

Shai obviously doesn't like public speaking. That's OK. As said you have a manager you're paying a lot of money to - Get help from them for a basic 1-2 minute roll.

Reckon most well ran suburban clubs would expect better than that.

Pretty sad if Bakes was on the *smile*.
Very unprofessional.
It's like KB used to say on the radio, when the grog is in, the brain is out!

Bakes has been around long enough, was talked of as a potential Captain. He shouldn’t still need schooling , has done plenty of media, maybe his Manager just took it for granted he would have it covered. Agree very disappointing by him
