GAMEDAY v hawks Round 23

We’ve got a real problem here. He’s got 2 more years. How can we hide he and Ryan for the next couple of years at least?
If we have gibcus and Balta down back next year then miller will be a better player taking the third best forward. He slogged his guts out today for the whole game. I hope he continues to improve and become an Astbiry type of player for us.

Until Miller accepts contact is part of the game, he won’t be elite. Easy to accept soft sideways outlet kicks, but his job is to nullify dangerous forwards, and he’s fallen away dreadfully in the bank end of the season. Harden up or go.

Lots of moaning as usual in here. We all knew before the game we were going to be beaten by 10+ goals. After the first quarter, we were staring at a cricket score, so was good to see the boys fight back and force Hawthorn into a game of footy.

Today has cemented a few things, Cumbo and Coulthard will be the 1st players delisted. Balta is a backman.
Didn't think it would nearly be 10 goals+ at quarter time

We had a shocking first quarter but we were reasonably competitive for the rest of the game. Not overly disappointed. Injuries aside, our skills are very ordinary but with a few early wins next year our confidence will receive a boost. The players looked so flat in the first today and lost confidence in their abilities.

Where are those early wins next year, going to come from?

Yet is top 5 for 1 on 1 wins this season was on top until 3 rounds ago
