Game Day Tiges v Port

Since when did Riccutto play for port?
He was flogging himself how good port were.
That was just because we have destroyed his team and turned them into a VFL side.
Suck s...

i still don't think we were that far off pinching that ..
Defence takes a few marks and we win some centre clearances ..

With Kayo problems - I kept getting an error message and drop out during the game and just did a software update for the app and my device which seems to have fixed it

I think when we get everyone back , our midfield obviously gets stronger , but so does our forward line , with the likes of shai, dusty , Edwards spending more minutes per game there

Spend this money. International RFC membership. Watch AFL International sub included for free. Then buy a cheap VPN account. Then stream to TV from phone iPad pc whatever.
im no propellor head but if the kayo which is a streaming service drops out what makes you think your convoluted scenario will work if you have crap internet not even having steves jobs pushing the buttons will help

Impressive by tigers,
One of history's most advantageous games against us,

Ports very best side.
Skinny ground.
4 day turnaround.
6 guns out.
Down 11 frees.
No crowd at all for us.
Port couldn't play better.
We lost just about every stat big time.
Lots of inexperienced guys in.
But we still were well in it.

Reality is that unlike last year, most of our injured & unavailable players won’t be back for a while if at all. I’d say Edwards is gone for the season & Prestia/Astbury 2-3 weeks. Really only Nank, Cotchin & Houli in the short term. We do need a change up in centre square set up & Collier-Dawkins must play next game. Plenty to drop after tonight starting with E-Smith. Really disappointed with Stack, Pickett & Castagna as well - extremely poor.

Closing Kayo account on Monday, streaming is *smile*. Dropped out 10 times
I reckon there might have been issues with broadcast in general, as my afl live app kept freezing, which it hardly ever does...

Wow - great presser from Hinkly - very generous. Well done by him i say. WOW just *smile* wow - one *smile* reporter actually says that from where they sat Port got the rough end of the umpiring..

Much like Dusty, because he's an offensive weapon. Makes such good decisions with the ball. I hope Dusty is going as well at 32.
Yeah I understand what you mean, he's a big game player, but he's really bloody lazy when he needs to defend. He will get exposed eventually in a final . Dusty won't

Don't reckon he plays again this season after tonight's effort. 100% commitment is non negotiable. He didn't give it.
Deadset straight up scared there tonight, you hate to say that about a bloke playing at the top level, but I haven't seen anything close to that level of "pulling out" since the Jack Darling one years ago. Cannot afford to play anyone who shows any timidness whatsoever, (and he's not the only one unfortunately) very very poor tonight after showing some excellent form for a few weeks.

I don't have crap internet. And I'm in the boonies.

Sheesh what a game. I normally only download our wins but I will be downloading this one.
With our full side in we could be anything this year but I'm afraid we may struggle to finish top four which will make it hard no matter who we have in.
I don't mind our losses this year to the Aints, GWS or Port, because I think they are all pretty good but that Hawthorn loss was inexcusable and could cost us big time.
And the draw.
Can we do it from 5th-8th?
Hawks (players disinterested and we were never in it) and Saints and Port the only games we should have lost. Kicked ourselves out of the game against Giants and clearly should have won. Completely outplayed Scumwood after quarter time but couldn't score. Jack kicks even a point from 35m and we win.

We should be 8-3 and sitting pretty for top 4. Now we are back in the ruck. Not sure we can afford to drop another game and still finish top 4. The Scum and Giants games are the ones that will cost us.

I think this is one of those years where its quite tight between the best teams. If the best teams fall into that 5th-8th group (which could well happen this year) yes I think it can be done no problem.

We know our best beats pretty much every team in the comp. Their best midfield beat up on our much less experienced mids. Replace Pickett, Stack and Ross with Cotch, Prestia and Edwards and you have a different game.
I think we could win it from 5th to 8th but the problem is you have no margin for error. If you have an off night in the first week and you opponent catches fire you're gone. The double chance eliminates that.

Cons: we lost.

Pros: we combatted blatant incompetent umpiring.
We played pretty well on their home ground.
We are missing Nank, Cotch, Prestia, Astbury, Edwards and Houli. Should get Cotch and Houli back v GCS.
It makes Port flag favourites. They’ll choke come October.
