North don’t have any kind of stability, member base or winning culture. I’m more upbeat than that. This is what we have to look forward to. Enjoy it all.

He was the only mid who contributed for four quarters. I thought today was a key example of why they need him around next year.Prestia needs to retire
The team on top of the ladder is not always the bestOfficial - WE ARE THE WORST TEAM IN THE COMP.
Injuries have been pretty bad but the notion that we could challenge the eight with a clean bill of health is absurd. Bottom six at best. The scary thing is, we had our best midfield out there today. It’s only Ross, Pickett, Clarke & Maurice currently missing through injury.
And greenCampbell was the highlight for me, only player who looked like hitting a target.
Buck stops with him, not fixed in a week, he is staring coaching reality in the face now. This summer needs to work out what he wants from 2025, and get the board on board. What can he do about it? He has had nothing to do with the list. Not sure he should have to coach them to kick.
Mr Negative Look at the positives, we’ll have the best hand come draft night. No.1 with a bulletOfficial - WE ARE THE WORST TEAM IN THE COMP.
The list management team might think we have too many midfielders and select a key position instead.Problem is no one knows who that is this year. Harley Reid was in last year’s draft.
Seth Campbell would be in my top 6 for this game but that's about it. No young midfielders in our side, something with a bit of luck we can address in the next draft.Unfortunately there is unlikely to be a young player in our best half dozen despite how badly they played today. I’m not expecting any young ones to be consistent but we aren’t seeing any of them have a “day out” and show us that they might get to B grade in a season or two. Eg Campbell his best game is still his first.
Post 2020 the recruiting of Clarke, dancing to the tune of Hardwick's delusional belief we were still in premiership contention, has been a disaster.Unfortunately there is unlikely to be a young player in our best half dozen despite how badly they played today. I thought he was ok too. Provided some run or at least attempted to.Campbell was the highlight for me, only player who looked like hitting a target.
McGrathNow let's get 6, 8, 11 and 15.
I'm not as downbeat as some on here. I reckon some of our senior players seriously let down the young kids today. I thought Banks, Campbell and Green were very good (shame Steely got injured) but when they were reading out the kicking efficiency of our mids (at 1 point all 3 of Prestia, Hopper and Taranto were below 35%), it was embarassing. Throw in Shorts efforts and they really let down the young kids.
Of our senior guys Vlastuin and Broad were great down back and I thought Graham and Baker were good.
What I took away from it though the most was North are at least 3-4 years in front of us in terms of rebuilding through the draft and thats the dross they put up!! Had we had a strong forward target like Larkey we'd have won that game in a canter, despite those senior players letting down the rest.
I still think the kids we have can play those role players and we will go to the draft and try and start taking those next group of superstar players to take us back up the ladder, whether thats with or without Bolton / Rioli etc we will work through that over the next coming months.
And we get to beat Dimma’s Suns in the last game and still retain pick 1Pick 1 is ours
