its a joke that he is still playing at all in any form of the game for australia. his fielding last night was atrocious and i wont even get started on his recall to the test team
What are you talking about? Trevor says he's a great fielder :p.
I agree his fielding was pathetic last night.

He was sent a pretty clear message by not getting a bat though.

Re: Cricket

India won by nine wickets... Munaf Patel and Anil Kumble wrecking England's second innings. Only skipper Flintoff, with 70, stood tall.

India thus take a 1-0 lead to the third and final Test starting in Mumbai on Saturday.

Re: Cricket

Victoria are in the shield final :partyfest
Chasing 361 they did it 5 wickets down
Mash 82 Jewell 58 Hodge 52 Hussey 53 White 46no
First win at St Kilda in 15 years
Now play Qld at the Gabba

Good luck boys

:cupgold

I wish he was but Hohns says he will bat him at no4 in the test.

Is that right mb? He's said he'll start? :p
In that case it's the most undeserved recall to the starting 11 in two decades.

I think we'll lose the series.
Yep ToO,Hohns said on SEN that Martyn will bat no4 & he expects him to do so for the next couple of years.Work that out.

Discraceful that Aus lost that ODI V springboks.

Why Mick Lewis bowled his last 2 overs is inexcusable.

He probably bowled his last 2 overs because he wanted to & was told to.

Sometimes things don't end the way you want them to. Most ODIs are forgotten 5 minutes after their completion.
In my mind, the result of many ODIs are got up.
At least this one goes into the memory as something special.

Ponting should have bowled Lee.Poor captaincy.

Thats what I meant by my post, your spot on the money MB.

For such a special match it is a crying shame we had to loose it, very dissapointing.

Agree,In respect to the test it looks like we will have Kasper the ghost to partner Brett Lee with both spinners to play. Our bowling will rely heavily on Lee & Warne.Bracken should have been included, instead he's in Aust.

Re: Cricket

Clark in ahead of MacGill :(

SA won the toss and batting 0/15

Another *interesting* selection decision

Clarks' bowling tonight reminds me of a Alderman - line and length and just playing for a mistake from the batsmen. Good stuff from the guy.

Smith's made a big mistake choosing to bat in those overcast conditions. Very favourable to the bowlers.
Still great bowling by Clark. You've still got to get them out and to his credit he's done it.

Interesting comment ToO as punter after loosing the toss said he would of batted if he had won the toss. Maybe just playing mind games but agree that with the weather conditions would of bowled if i'd won the toss. Aussies in a good posi at lunch but can see the wicket drying out after lunch and maybe the SA's getting back into the game if they are on their game.

Didn't hear that Tubs but it doesn't surprise me at all after making the big mistake of bowling in the 2nd Ashes Test. Ricky's a bit gunshy after the ODI final I dare say. He's lucky he lost the toss I reckon'.
