Re: Cricket

Billy just a showman for the crowds.

Good to see ex Tassie all rounder Rod Tucker as 4th umpire I hope like Pistol he gets a gig one day

Re: Cricket

Now Ponting can thank his lucky stars -- once edging through vacant second slip, and then Aleem Dar (doesn't) strike again.

Re: Cricket

Aleem Dar DOES strike again. Symonds lbw to a yorker angling in that hit just outside the line of leg stump. Shocking decision.

Re: Cricket

Even though it was a stinker it's fair to say Symonds never looked comfortable and a had a few close ones go his way.

Gilly, if you are ever gunna find form again, now would be a good time.

Re: Cricket

Symonds never looked like hanging around until lunch or so tomorrow.

Damned bad light and early tea, want to see Nel's hat-trick attempt and how mental he goes if he gets it.

Re: Cricket

I just saw my first video of Botha bowling. Looks like someone has been watching Murali and decided if the authorities aren't going to stop throwing you may as well exploit it.

Ridiculous.

Agree with both posts. The problem now is there will be a wave of new chuckers coming into cricket because the authorities have been too soft.

Re: Cricket

No doubt MB. When you have the world's second best wicket taker of all time throwing them what can you do?

Re: Cricket

Gilchrist showing form with the bat at last as Aust move 8/314.Gilly 50 not out.Good recovery.

Thank goodness. I only saw the start of his innings when he was quite circumspect. Did he look like the old Gilly?
