Cricket

The Indians are a law unto themselves in cricket now. The pissweak ICC bows to the threats and $ pressure they bring.
Well they are the Indian Cricket Commission that run the cricket circus these days, nothing to bow down to.

The Poms have totally butchered ghis opportunity.

Nah. Plenty of people can’t stand the Indian team and the crap that Indian cricket gets up to. They’re the real enemy nowadays. Not just for Australia, but the game itself.
Agree but we dont want defeating India to make another enemy stronger.

In fact the best thing of this series is the poor pitches and DRS. Get enough opposition making a converted argument against India and the ICC and force changes

Absolute garbage bowling from Root and Hartley. Pathetic.

Pack it up and go home England.
Anderson? At least he bowls straight, may have got one to keep low?

And the bloke that got 5 for didn't open and you use Root?

Hartley bowled pies.

Disastrous day for the Poms, could not have gone worse..

Yeah they’ve blown a chance to beat the despised Indians on their manipulated deck.

*** I can’t stand that Ravi Shastri. That guy is a complete ***.

The Indian commentators are so biased. Shastri & Gavaskar the worst. I suppose some payback for all the beatings and abuse they copped in their careers?

When the pommy bowler got 5 for yesterday (on debut) they showed no excitement for him. Ashwin bowls and they rave like he's the greatest bowler in history. The excitement is almost exclusively reserved for Indian players.

Looking forward to this summer, I want to see a whitewash.

Poms need a miracle today.

Gavaskar. Another ahole I can’t stand.

Along with his utterly biased bs, Shastri has a sneery face you just want to punch

Rohit out after having a brain fade has lead to a second quick wicket, India 3-100 needing another 92, game on.

This would have to be the most inexperienced Indian batting line-up I can recall. Really only one established Test batsman - Rohit. Jadeja (4 100s in 71 Tests) has batted at 7 or 8 most of his career and is at 5 here. Jaiswal is taking the world by storm but it's his eighth Test and just his 23rd first-class game. Gill is in his 24th Test but yet to establish himself. Sarfaraz is in his second Test, Patidar in his third (and possibly last) and the keeper Jurel is in his second Test and just 17th first-class match. They're really missing Kohli and KL Rahul.

With Pujara gone, Kohli 35 and not playing, Jadeja 35, Aswhin 37, Rahane almost 36 and seemingly done, and Rohit almost 37, they are a team in transition. Good time to get them.

Been impressed with all three young Pommy spinners. Rehan dropped for this match but will be the most successful of the three in Australia.

Appears the Poms are going to fall short, big opportunity missed.
