Cricket

Of course Warner fails once his spot is secured. Probably won't make any runs until Sydney now, and in Sydney we'll be treated with enough gushing to make any non new south welshman vomit.

Whatever your beliefs I think it’s a bad decision of Ussie to protest during the cricket. Sets a really bad precedent that will be hard to wind back.

Sport & politics don’t mix. Sport is the equaliser, not a platform to push your beliefs on field. Off field go for it.

I hope cricket Australia pull him up on it tbh.

Where do you draw the line once the Pandora’s box is open? It’s bigger than him.
But wasn't it just a year or two ago where world cricket joined everyone in taking the collective knee? Now all of a sudden Usie gets his arse chewed for his statement attempt.

Steve Smith should be reprimanded for his dissent. He gets miles across his stumps all the time. He reviews every time. Looked pretty plumb, review showed it was out.

A freak batsman but he's past his best and cannot handle it. He's not a very likeable player carrying on like he does.

It’ll probably make a few of them vomit, too, Ian.

Starc bowling 90% garbage, all over the place. Bowls the odd good ball and has 2 wickets !!
I wonder if that sort of unpredictable bowling is harder to handle than the metronomic type?

Lyon snares his 500th test wicket, getting it on an lbw review!

Dunno if even the worlds greatest bullshìtter Donald Trump and his alternative facts on crowd sizes can save the WACA when they trot out the attendance figures for this test!
Disgraceful!

*smile* arseholes of cricketers. Pakistan next door to being on toast at 4 for not many at about 6.30 Melb time n I surrender the t.v. to the missus who likes to record the news n then watch it delayed a bit while fast forwarding through the commercials. Click the t.v. back to the live cricket just in time to hear that the goat has taken 2 wickets in one over n I've missed his 500th by the bees proverbial. Shuffle around in circles while trying to organise something dodgy to eat while muttering about evil fate n how Pakistan must be 6 for not many when farking Hazlewood grabs 2 wickets in a row and the games done n dusted. Headjob n some other bastard have snaffled a couple of wickets before the goat even got a look in at his 2.
Six wickets in less than an hour and I've been completely screwed over and missed them all. Aaaaarrrgh, stupid farking game.

Pakistan. West Indies. Bangladesh. Can’t cricket find some better minnow-irrelevant states for Australia, India and England to beat up on ?

What’s Fiji up to ? Mauritius ?

I know there are some ex-pats out there, perhaps not living in such a cricketing waste-land as I am (Denmark), but I'm curious to know how folks not living in Australia are streaming the Australian Tests this summer. It gets harder and harder each year. There was a time when Cricket Australia provided the service themselves. But now they outsource it and it gets more difficult each year. This season for the first time I have to resort to VPN, which works (quite well actually), but is less flexible in terms of how you can watch it. I'm not looking for a freebie here, quite happy to pay, but now there is just no service. It's OK if India are involved because there is a service (YuppTV) whose reason for existing appears to be to provide all sorts of Indian content for Indian ex-pats in Europe - that's how I watched the World Cup and it was perfect.
I sent Cricket Australia an email asking how I could legally stream the Australian Tests this summer on the European continent and haven't even got a reply - and that was more than two weeks ago.
I simply can't believe in this day and age that it is not possible to do this. There is no competitive rights issue here - if there was I guess there would be a service - and it really should be just a matter of flicking a switch. Don't they want to promote the sport? Test cricket that no-one else wanted used to find its way on to ICC.tv for a nominal fee but even that option seems to have vanished.
I'm in Melbourne till Tuesday but when I get back to Bots , I watch the cricket thu Indian sites thu Facebook . The way I watch footy is even more weird .

Hazlewood will be on a hat rick at the G on Boxing Day. Merv Hughes got one over two innings, can Hazlewood get one over 2 tests?

Mitch Marsh Player of the Match . Wot about Dave Warner's 164. Make a 164 & you get sniped. Call in the ACCC.

Sat next to the coaches box today. They had a list on the wall of all the staff associated with the team.......physio, massage therapist, security, coaches, media manager, "head of mens perforce"....a truck load of people. George Bailey was the only selector listed, his role was "performance & strategy specialist".
I wonder whether he's drawing two salaries.

Yes it is at that pace. Left arm pace bowlers are not usually metronomic but more polysemous.

Anyone know
Report here big financial loss for Test at Optus. Maybe people are tightening the belts as mortgage rates bite into the budget or cricket is losing it due to Yes stand.
Have never understood why grade and junior cricket is played in Perth when tests matches are being played in Perth.
