Agree. Squad in decline sorely needs regeneration, rejuvenation.

Prefer to lose with youth, who may gain from the experience, instead of 'used to bes' (Warner, Msrsh) & 'neverwases' (Stoinis etc)

Funny about Stoinis, he just never seems to do anything bar the odd innings here or there. Here’s his last 31 ODI scores:

Rabble. We don't pick finger spinners, we don't pick swing bowlers, we bat a keeper at no.5 and we can't catch a cold. Get a broom and start by smacking George Bailey in the arse with it.

Wrong horse.

Bad fielding is a coaching issue.

Nearly all our white ball players are going backwards. Smith, Maxwell, Cummins, Carey even Zampa now etc.

Need a dedicated white ball coach to give renewed focus.

Can’t see but Waiting has a habit of putting his curse and the opposite happens😉

Bowled well though from reports.

Not 1 boundary.
 
So these days we're as good at Cricket as we are at Rugby Union. We'd lose all our sporting pedigree if it wasn't for the Mathildas.

Reckon they wanted to play the quicks as first option, if didnt work then go to 3 spinners i.e. Agar.

He got ruled out for first half of Cup late on and yes should have replaced him straight away with a like replacement. Not Marnus.

Poor selection.

But our white ball woes run deeper than that. Been poor under this regime in both forms after winning World Cup under Langer. The home 20 over World Cup was a debacle.

The fielding is nearly always a reflection on coaching.

It means either A) the little things aren't being adhered to or B) the players minds aren't in the game.

Usually both.

Either way, player performances dropping off across the board along with fielding standards is on the coach.

Pace bowling hasn’t really worried our first two opponents!

Cummins 1 wicket and has been smashed all over the ground.

Starc better.

Hopefully Agar comes in.

Just some poor, strange selections and the team is bereft of confidence.

We didn't win the World Cup under Langer.

Marnus should have been in the squad to start with. Abbott is a waste of a spot.
