To be fair, this is quality bowling on a surface offering plenty.

The old adage, you dont' know the pitch until both teams have batted is true once again.

Saying that we need to take the fight back with the old ball.

About time Carey stood up with the bat this series and played a Paine type counter punch with an aggressive 50 or 60.

Head copped a half reasonable (but not unplayable) ball.

Then 6,7,8 all thrown wickets away at a crucial stage. Especially Carey.

All when have Smith at other end.

well poms said 250 was a good score, I reckon they're right. Be happy to get within 40 or 50 from here. Smith will have to start playing some shots and farming the strike.
