It feels like he has completely psyched us. The way we bowl to him doesn’t stop him scoring, it just gives him licence to throw the bat.

Yes but the Aussies came out after lunch with the dumb strategy of buying Woods' wicket by feed his love for short-pitched stuff. He helped himself to 18 off one Starc over whose response was a silly grin. Does Starc have his head in the game? Is it all abit of a laugh ... since he doesn't have to make those runs he just gifted them?
The rot started there. Needed to attack his stumps with some fielders up. Cost 24 runs wasted and turned the tide back in their favour. Stokes just took full advantage.

Yes but he has incredible power and timing. Even his mis-hits go for six. Very hard to stop once he flicks the switch.
