But their weather is always so good according to Sydneysiders who love to tell Victorians..
Reality is that storm cells are becoming a feature of their summer these days.
It rains incessantly up there and has for a lot of years now. It’s weather has become south east Asia-like the last 20 years. Humid, lots of rain. Winter are the better months up there. And even then it still buckets down.

Broad wasting the new ball, though he pitched it up a bit more that over, give Wood a crack.

Test sessions lost to weather since 2014/15:
Gabba - 3.5
Adelaide Oval - 4.5
MCG - 6.5
SCG - 16.5

SCG has lost more time to weather in the last eight years than Manchester.

Harris scratching around, 12 runs from 50 balls. I’ve watched him play for Victoria and he seems a different player.

At least we can 'feel' the Sydney test in Melbourne today (and next 2 days) with this annoying humidity.

Winter definitely better, though not much rain.
Too true about the summer months, its Sydneypour here from Nov to March. And humid as all get out

Great day for us English. First test of this tour where we haven't lost a wicket on the 1st day :D
