Have thought through last season was seeing some Dangerfield qualities in this kid. Could he have a bigger playing impact than Cotchin over the journey? His tenacity seems boundless.

This bloke was consistently tagged in his second season.

Furthermore he has responded to a public bake by his coach as champions do.

He is a lot better than he looks and is one of the few on the list that can run out a full game .

Exciting prospect, and a 1st round fj special

Have to give a bit of credit to the coaching staff here. Carlton was one of the first teams to send a tagger to Brandon last year (Armfield if I recall correctly). Turned that one around on them and shut down one of their key playmakers while our boy contributed both in the play and on the scoreboard.

Have to record my disappointment with his brain fade that resulted in the winning goal. I went very early that he will become an elite player but copybook blotted today. In the same way that you can stand up and win a game with a last minute goal you can be equally responsible for saving a game with a last minute defensive play. A silver fox outwitted a blonde tip wunderkind.

I was at that game and how the ball got down there so quick to a one on one was the problem.

B2

He *smile* himself.
He could've tried marking the ball, he could've waited fir the ball to bounce, he could've bump Gia into the stand, but he *smile* himself and tackled him, but Gia didn't have the ball.
Dumb dumb

If only we knew how to move the ball that quickly into the forward line. :(

Couldn't have marked it as it was out of reach and he didn't *smile* himself. Gia played the old 'KB' trick and made Brando tackle him without the ball. Dumpires fall for it every time.

Gia never took possession; umpires fell for nothing and rightly paid Gia a free kick.

Ellis panicked, pure and simple. A poor piece of play to go with him and Astbury spoiling each other in a marking contest which also cost us a goal in the last quarter.

Geez the RFC is a haven for dumb footballers. Although I don't necessarily think Ellis is a dumb footballer, he did some really dumb things today that heavily contributed to the loss.

Umps didn't fall for it, Ellis did. He actually does it every week, tackles a player with head down assuming they took possession, it doesn't usually hurt because he isn't normally the last line of defence. Needs to tidy up this part of his game.

Did you have your eyes shut?
He tackled him without the ball, the umpire had no other option
Dumb dumb
He *smile* himself, instead of attacking the ball he went and tackled him, where he could've push/bump out of the contest
