That's 2 games that he has gone missing. Another who struggles with the tag.

A nice problem to have. Tag Ellis, let Martin, Cotchin, Deledio, Foley, Conca, Vlaustin go. Better than the scenario 3 or more years ago, tag Deledio, let ummm ... errr .... Tuck, Tambling, Nahas...

Even the very best players can be tagged out by a negative focused tagger. The good teams have the depth that makes the tag rendered useless by others stepping up.

Poor game from the young fella. Form from the preseason games has continued. Needs to pick it up in the next week or two or he will find himself back in the VFL.

Not his fault he is played out of position.

Exactly, I understand that they want him to become a better contested player but he has never shown much ability to win the hard ball in tight situations.

1-10 didn't even notice him. Totally agree

Fast becoming my favourite player at Tigerland (sorry Cotch). Tough, skilled and a great size for a midfielder. Shutdown Gibbs as well.

Gibbs was very poor. Looked like he didn't want to be there. As bad as he was Ellis was great and will get better.
