Brandon Ellis

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

not good enough today and needs a rest. he is better than what he showed.

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

Is there any resaon why he gets on his left so much?

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

He did ok today, broke the lines, had 19 possies, 4 marks and 4 i50's not sure what people are on about...i did not think he looked tired at all and in the last month his breakaway speed from a pack has been quite surprising, puts the foot on the petal and takes off...robust for such a young player....

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

Did ok in poor conditions I think - was in and under a fair bit too. Tell you what - he looks a solid unit.

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

Good solid effort today.

Still think he has some limitations to get to the absolute top level, but thats a knock on nearly every player.

Perhaps his best game today leysy thought.

I agree, thought it was one of his better games...people are a little harsh on a first year player geez.

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

Don't agree with some of the criticism after yesterday's game, thought he was solid.

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

After a poor game last week, Ellis was a lot better today. Attacked the ball a lot better and provided some drive with the ball.
Having a good year for a 1st year player. But still wouldnt surprise to see him miss at some stage soon.

Nice combination of hardness and efficiency. Jury still out when running in to kick a goal.

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

Probably his best game of the year. Was one of our best in the first half. 23 touches, can't ask for much more.

Yep agree Barnzy. His first half was super impressive. He has a very cool head on his shoulders for a first year player.

Agree. Has time and smarts. Needs a massive preseason but the more I see of him the more I think he will become a run with midfielder who hurts teams the other way.

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

He's a terrific pick up and should get a RS nomination.
If he played for GWS he'd have had one by now.
It's time to end the RS farce.

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

We've got a ripper here.Hard and skilled on either side of his body.Another quality onballer down the road.

Re: Welcome Brandon Ellis

Really really like the look of this kid.

Might be incredibly early, but the way he's so clean with his hands, doesn't fumble, the balance, and the composure under pressure remind me of seeing ben cousins play. Hopefully those are the only similarities.
