Not sure whether to call Bobble either Gallipoli or Western Front in future. He spent most of the game in no mans land again last night.
Footy's a fairly simple game, ya go hard or ya go home. Last week Bobble went hard n had a crack at everything, played an excellent game. Last night, apart from one or two quality efforts. He gave his opponent way to much space n time. He ran at half pace. He virtually refused to commit himself to contests, waiting n hoping someone would make a mistake n allow him to latch on to a cheapie.
Spot on assessment. That’s how we saw it too and doubly disappointing after the previous week’s game against Port. He’s been given his wing back but needs to contest much harder than last night. Playing with that lack on intensity against Collingwood or West Coast & he’d be thrashed.

I watched him all night run into no mans land whenever they had possession.

He applied minimal pressure and bobbled his way in the last instance to make it look like he was trying.

There are 18 year olds out there who are light years ahead of him and continually put their bodies on the line when its their turn.

How he makes the team each week is one of the universes greatest mysteries.

Even Carl Sagan would stand bemused!

One good thing laced with 3 bad things. People are funny around here with what the excuse from their golden boys.
Be interesting to see what the match committee think. I'll back them so long as we keep winning.

That's not a surprise. As above he was very ordinary in the third, but stood up in the fourth. Had a good first half.

People will see what they want to see.

I thought he was one of our best in the first half.

Whipping boys tags are hard to break.

Agree. Wasn't great in the third, but then again not many were.

Nah, I reckon it’s the other way around. Brando could get 40 touches and make one error and he would be lambasted for the error by some on here

That is true but i was sitting on his wing and it was infuriating that he allowed so much latitude to his direct opponent and allow Sydney an easy relieving kick. It got comical at times with the crowd yelling at him to "man up".

Yes that’s true in the third. But he wasn’t on his own.

That’s just *smile* too. His game against GWS was as bad as anyone could play. Last week he was good and was roundly praised. He was a mixed bag last night., some really poor stuff.

It’s not BS. It’s an opinion and it’s no more or less valid than your opinion.

I just happen to think you are wrong.

He was a mixed bag last night, just like the team, but he was a long from being our worst.

Who was worse?

If his opinion is no more or less valid than yours, then how can he be wrong? Or has the definition of valid changed since last I looked?
